my ears....another sore affliction from girls camp three weeks ago......I can't hear!!!!! my ears are clogged, feels like I am in a tunnel
I think the Lord is trying to teach me some things and I am discovering them. The Lord has ways and he finds ways to humble us and to teach us and this time I am being taught while in pain with my legs and loss of hearing from my ears.
so for me.... I know that I am working on healing while here in the mission field --healing of a broken heart -- healing my spirit so that I can have a change of heart and much, much more. I have been dealt with some health issues during and since girls camp. My arthritis is painful, but slowly subsiding. But my ears are still very clogged (three weeks now) and I can't hear even across my small office without straining to hear. I know that my ears will get better, I will see a doctor and the healing from that will come. But it is time for me to go forth with deep listening and seeing -- and it is to be done with my heart and soul. It's time to turn my heart and soul completely to my Savior -- it is he who will heal me, but only after I have put full trust and faith in him. I need to clear out of my head all doubts, fears and worries. I need to move forward with patience, hope, faith and charity and many more attributes. I know that he can heal me -- he can help me feel better with my arthritis and my ears, but this is the time for me to look over my life -- where I am in my personal thoughts, scriptures studies, my missionary work, my hope for the future, my desires to be better ---- it is time for me to turn everything over to the Lord, I can't keep any of it, I need to turn it all over to him and know that he will heal me, he will direct my path and he will put miracles in my path and I will teach with firmness. I want to be worthy -- to do the will of my Savior. I want ears to hear and eyes to see and legs to walk the path of his discipleship.

*****************************************************************************************************A follow up to this story -- July 7 - Thursday -- I went to the doctor -- my eyes were totally clogged -- so a major clean and now I can hear. So grateful.
