Elder Edward Dube was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 2013. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Third Quorum of the Seventy in the Africa Southeast Area. He is currently serving at Church headquarters.

He was in Omaha this weekend -- visited the Trail Center - was in the Winter Quarters Temple while I was on shift on Saturday and spoke in the Winter Quarters Ward on Sunday.  That ward meets right before my ward, had I known I would have been there.  But, I did go early for choir practice, but went even 15 minutes earlier to practice.  I walked into the building and heard him speaking so sat down on the couch and finishing listening to his message and then was able to meet him after.  What a great man.  You could just feel his wonderful love and his love for the Lord.  It was a treat to have him here and to meet him.

some of thing he expressed in his talk were:
.....follow the impressions of your heart
.....lose yourself for my sake
.....testify of his divinity
.....read the Book of Mormon daily
.....find one person this year for the missionaries to teach
.....love the Lord
